Once you have removed all members, you need to change the group privacy settings to “Closed.” This will prevent other users from joining the group since it will be hidden from people outside of it.
Step 5: Delete Group Details
Empty all information that is not necessary. You can delete the group information, such as descriptions and images, and implementing this should leave the group relatively empty.
Step 6: Select Leave Group
To prevent your group from getting taken over, make sure to be the last one to leave. If you exit early, anyone who remains can take ownership of the group.
