Klarna allows you to create a One-time card to use at stores you like. Just search for your favorite store and create a new One-time card. Then when you’re ready to buy, use your card instead of a credit or debit card.
Does Klarna Refund Purchases Made by Ghost Card
Klarna offers refunds on ghost card purchases. After their refund has been processed, the store will contact you with an update. Once they confirm your return or cancellation, your refund will be processed within 24 hours according to the store’s refund policy.
How Long Do Refunds Take
Your refund should be sent to you within 14 days. The store will register your return or cancellation, and your refund should follow the store’s policies. Refunds are different if you have been charged less than the original price or it’s been processed as a whole or partial refund.
Full Refund
Once the refund for your order has been completed, any remaining payments will be cancelled, and they’ll refund your money to the original payment method.
Partial Refund
Suppose your refund exceeds the remaining balance of your order. In that case, the refund amount will be deducted from the outstanding balance, and any difference will be credited to your original payment method.
If your partial refund is less than the remaining balance of your order, it will be deducted from those payments and evenly spread across the remainder of what’s still due. You’ll see any updates to the payment plan in‑app.
Financing
The refund will be taken from the balance of your financing account if the amount that needs to be refunded is more than what you owe.
If your Klarna account has a negative balance, any refunds you receive will automatically reduce that account balance. Any resulting positive balance can be used to buy from participating online stores.
How Long Does It Take for Klarna to Refund a One-time Card
Refunds can take up to 14 days before they are finally credited to your account. The store will manually review the return request, which takes 5-7 days to process.
The store’s refund policy will apply, and the money will be credited to your Klarna account. You can always check the status of your refund request by logging into My Klarna in the transactions section of the app.
How to Dispute or Refund Ghost Card Purchases
Klarna’s Buyer Protection Policy comes in handy when you need to dispute a transaction. You need to contact the retailer directly and work with them. If they decide in your favor, Klarna will be alerted about the outcome and can reimburse you for your purchase if necessary.
